Idem Key End-User Limited Warranty
Limited Warranty Coverage
GoTrust warrants that each Idem Key security device will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for one (1) year from the original date of purchase by the end user.
Remedy
If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, the end user must request an exchange or replacement from the original place of purchase or authorized reseller. GoTrust’s responsibility is limited to replacement of the defective product, subject to verification by the reseller or GoTrust.
Exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, modification, improper storage, or unauthorized repair.
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoTrust shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Idem Key.
State Law Rights (U.S. Consumers)
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
- This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
- For residents of California and other states with similar statutes, this warranty does not affect any rights you may have under those state laws.
How to Obtain Service
For warranty service, please contact the retailer or authorized partner where you purchased your Idem Key, providing proof of purchase and a description of the defect. If the reseller is unavailable, you may contact GoTrust directly at support@gotrustid.com for assistance.
